PADI Open Water Referral

If you really want to get Open Water certified but are constricted by time or doubtful about entering the open ocean, the PADI Open Water Referral (OWR) is the best option for you. It allows you to dip your toes into the sport by completing your confined skill sessions in the security of a swimming pool in the city and complete your theory online while sitting on your couch. That lets you come prepared for the most fun half of the course that are the four Open Water training dives, which can be done over just two days on your holiday. While the confined sessions cover important skills that teach you safety procedures and good buoyancy, the Open Water training dives let you put them into practice. You learn how to dive comfortably and swim with the fish, like a fish. 

Since you’ve already mastered the confined skill sections of the course you have the option of doing all four dives off our boat at off-shore dive sites if your instructor thinks you’re ready. If the PADI Open Water Referral leaves you with extra days on the island you can use them to explore, snorkel or dive some more!
