Teach your passion, go Pro!

If you are a divemaster who is passionate about the underwater world and want to share your love for the ocean with others, becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor is just what you might be looking for! At Scubalov, we believe in creating confident, safe and aware divers who care about preserving our fragile marine environment. This philosophy forms an integral part of all our professional training programs as well.

During your IDC training, you’ll build upon your skills as a divemaster or certified assistant while also developing your public speaking and teaching skills. You will also hone your in-water skills to demonstration-ready levels, and learn how to properly evaluate in-water skills performed by student divers. Upon successful completion of the IDC, you’ll attend a two-day PADI Instructor Examination. This is the final step towards earning your PADI Instructor certification. The Instructor Examination ensures all new PADI Instructors are prepared for real world teaching prior to certification.

We also offer an optional, but recommended, free-of-charge IDC preparation module prior to the course to get in some more in-water skill demonstration practice and revision of dive theory.
