M4 – Havelock’s Ray City and Reef Party Spot

M4 is what we lovingly call Ray City. Sting rays, leopard rays, and marble rays glide over the sandbanks that fringe the vast reef running along Havelock’s east coast near Kalapathar beach. With a maximum depth of just 15 meters, M4 is perfect for divers of all levels.

Scuba diving at M4 is always full of surprises—leopard groupers and octopus hide among rocky outcrops, while harlequin sweetlips and dancing shrimp shake a leg with you. And if you’re lucky, you might just spot something magical. M4 is the only site near Havelock where our divers have seen a dugong!
