Over one to two months, you’ll dive into advanced dive theory, learn how to assist instructors, guide certified divers, and manage real-world dive operations. You’ll become a role model in the water, learning how to lead with confidence and keep safety at the forefront — all while soaking in the magic of the underwater world. Our experienced and fun-loving team will mentor you throughout, helping you build the calm and capable PADI Dive Master within.

Our PADI Dive Master Internship offers a deeper dive — quite literally. You’ll get unlimited dives during your training, hands-on experience running a dive shop, and more time to be mentored by our senior instructors. Interns become part of the ScubaLov family, learning what it really takes to keep a dive center running smoothly.

Dreaming of turning your love for diving into a full-time career? Our Zero to Hero program takes you from beginner to professional—no prior experience needed. You’ll progress through Open Water, Advanced, EFR, Rescue, and Divemaster certifications, gaining hands-on skills, confidence, and real-world dive experience along the way. It’s the most immersive and rewarding way to become a dive pro. Start from zero, finish a hero—enquire now and dive into your future!

The PADI Divemaster course is flexible, but it’s not a one-and-done weekend thing. We recommend setting aside 6 to 8 weeks to do it right.

At ScubaLov, we believe in hands-on learning, so your training involves both classroom sessions and loads of water time. Here’s the rough breakdown:

  • Knowledge Development: Self-study + mentorship sessions
  • Water Skills & Stamina: Timed swims, rescue skills, underwater problem-solving
  • Practical Application: Guiding real dives, assisting with courses, gear handling, dive briefings
  • Minimum Logged Dives Required: 40 to start, 60 to finish

All our PADI courses include the cost of the PADI eManual, Theory Revision, Training Dives, Dive Equipment, and PADI certification fees (apart from Open Water Referral & Dive Master / Instructor Course).

The DM and Instructor Course do not include cost of materials! In addition, the DM & Instructor Certification fees will have to be paid directly to PADI. The Open Water Referral Dive Centre – where you did your academics and pool training – will issue the Materials and Certification Code.

Our course price includes the cost of the PADI eManual. If you prefer eLearning we offer a discount on the course when you affiliate the code with ScubaLov. Please read the PADI Medical Statement instructions before signing up, as we need a self or doctor's declaration that you are fit to dive!

If you don’t like reading a book (i.e., the PADI eManual), we offer the PADI eLearning, which is a convenient and flexible way to complete the knowledge development portion of PADI scuba diving courses online, at your own pace. This allows divers to learn the theory from anywhere with internet access and spend more time on the practical, in-water training during their diving trip.

  • Engaging Learning Experience: Unlike the eManual, eLearning utilizes interactive videos, animations, and quizzes to make learning enjoyable and effective.
  • Skill Improvement: Online learning allows for continuous skill review and improvement, ensuring you are well-prepared for your practical sessions.
  • Confidence Building: By mastering the theoretical aspects online, you can feel more confident and comfortable during your in-water training. 
  • Access to Updated Materials: PADI eLearning provides access to the latest course materials and updates, ensuring you have the most current information.

I use prescription medication. Can I dive?

It depends on the medication and your health condition. Before diving, you’ll need to fill out a medical form. If you answer “yes” to any questions, you’ll need clearance from a doctor to ensure it’s safe for you to dive. Safety first!

If you have any pre-existing medical condition, you will need a medical clearance from your doctor/physician. If you are above 50 years of age, you will need a medical clearance from your doctor/physician even if you have no medical conditions. If you are under 50 years of age and have no medical conditions, you can sign a self-declaration.

Even if you’re a doctor, it’s recommended to have another medical professional sign your form. This ensures an unbiased evaluation of your fitness to dive and aligns with diving safety protocols.

We strongly advise that you check the PADI Medical Statement before signing up for a course and traveling to the Andaman. We will need to see a medical clearance in case of a pre-existing medical condition, or when you above 50 years of age,  without it you cannot dive! On the island, you will not find a doctor who can assess your medical condition.

If, for some reason, your course is left incomplete, we will be able to refund you some money for what is left to be done. You can complete the course with us at a later date or you can obtain a referral form from us to complete your course elsewhere within 12 months time.

If it has been more than 6 months since you last dived, we advise you to undertake a ‘Refresher’ course, to revisit standard scuba diving skills and safety procedures. Our ‘full refresher’ is inclusive of one shore dive, while the ‘lite refresher’ includes two boat dives.

It depends on your pace! Some people complete it in 3–4 weeks with focused training, while others take longer to absorb everything. We recommend not rushing—after all, it’s your first step into pro diving.

Absolutely. Many divers take the course just to deepen their knowledge and skills. It’s a great way to improve your diving, build confidence, and have an epic adventure along the way.
